What is DiscountCloud?
DiscountCloud is a service provided by opsZero that helps you save money on your AWS and Azure bills. By partnering with AWS, Ingram Micro, Pax8 and other distributors we are able to return the discounts that we receive directly back to you.
How does it work?
DiscountCloud works by moving your payments to one our distributors Ingram Micro and Pax8 who manage the billing. You pay us directly and we pay the distributor. We do not need anything else from you.
Do your purchase Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, etc.?
No, we only touch billing and do not touch anything within your accounts. For reserved instances and savings plans purchases talk to our friends at opsZero.
Can you get us additional credits?
Yes, we if you are part of our Enterprise plan we work with you and your AWS Account manager to find additional credits.
What payment method do you take?
We bill through Stripe and take ACH payments in USD.
Who is behind DiscountCloud?
opsZero is bootstrapped DevOps agency that has been around since 2016 that started DiscountCloud. As we developed our relationships with AWS and other distributors we realized we could return the discounts we receive directly back to you.
Won't this affect Uncle Jeff Bezos's new yacht?
Well you can always just pay AWS directly instead of taking the 5% discount.
Is there a referral program?
Yes, send us a referral and if they convert to being a customer we will send you 50% of their monthly fee as long as they are a customer.
